Description
The Wooden Architecture Route is a perfect choice for lovers of tradition and beautiful landscapes. This route combines historic wooden churches, charming roadside chapels, and open-air museums with breathtaking Tatra views, as well as the flavors of regional cuisine and Highlander cheeses.
Tour program includes:
- Private transfer from Kraków
- Visit to the Gothic parish church of the Holy Trinity in Łopuszna, built in the second half of the 15th century, featuring ornamental ceiling polychrome paintings. The church is closely associated with Fr. Prof. Józef Tischner, an outstanding philosopher, theologian, and writer born in this village.
- Visit to the 15th-century Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Dębno Podhalańskie, a monument of wooden architecture listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Stylchyn Peninsula – a complex of former villas, guesthouses, and wooden houses relocated from the village of Czorsztyn, which was flooded during the construction of the Czorsztyn Reservoir.
- Visit to a traditional shepherd’s hut with a tasting of regional Highlander cheeses.
- Boat cruise between the castles of Czorsztyn and Niedzica on Lake Czorsztyn.
- The most famous roadside chapel of the Polish Spiš region, offering unforgettable views of the Tatra Mountains.
- Lunch at a regional scenic inn.
- A masterpiece of wooden architecture – the 16th-century Church of St. Elizabeth in Trybsz, built using log construction without nails and featuring the oldest preserved painted panorama of the Tatra Mountains in Poland.

- Reduced ticket (Polish) = 1,490 PLN / person

- Regular ticket (foreign language) = 1,600 PLN / person
- Reduced ticket (foreign language) = 1,590 PLN / person
Price valid for a minimum of 2 participants.
- Supplement for a tour for 1 person = 550 PLN
The price includes: private transfer for the entire route, admission tickets required to complete the program, services of a qualified guide, and lunch at a regional inn (two-course meal with a drink).
The tour is available in the following languages: Polish, English, German.
Notes:
- Reduced tickets are available for children, young people up to 26 years of age, disability pensioners, and seniors aged 65+, upon presentation of a valid student or pensioner ID.
- Advance booking is required.
- If the selected tour language is unavailable on a given day, the tour will be conducted in English or an alternative date will be offered.
