Description
The “Medieval Kraków” tour is a guided walk along the trail of Kraków Gothic architecture—a story of Kraków’s golden age as the capital of the Kingdom of Poland, a city of merchants, craftsmen, and kings. You will learn about the founding of Kraków under Magdeburg Law.
Tour program includes:
- Discover the “pearls” of Gothic architecture: St. Mary’s Basilica with the Veit Stoss Altarpiece and the Kraków bugle call, the Town Hall Tower, Collegium Maius, the Main Market Square—the largest medieval market square in Europe—old city walls that once defended Kraków, the Barbican, and Florian’s Gate.
- Experience an adventure beneath the Main Market Square in the Main Market Square Underground Museum “Following the Traces of Kraków’s European Identity.”
GUIDE FEE:
- Private guide in a foreign language – standard (3 hours) = 800 PLN
Admission tickets:
- Regular tickets = 45 PLN / person
- Reduced tickets = 40 PLN / person
The guide service fee does not include admission tickets.
The tour is available in the following languages (standard): Polish, English, Czech, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Slovak, Ukrainian, Italian.
Less common languages: Chinese, Japanese, Romanian, Swedish, Norwegian, Portuguese, Hungarian, Lithuanian require an additional fee of +200 PLN.
