Kraków used to be the beloved city of Karol Wojtyła where he studied at Jagiellonian University, worked at the former Solvay Soda Factory, became a priest and lived as a bishop of Krakow. During the guided tour you will discover the traces of John Paul II.

The tour includes:

  • The Wawel Cathedral: visit to the Royal Cathedral, Sigismund’s Bell, the Royal Tombs
  • A walk in the footsteps of Pope John Paul II through places associated with him and dear to him: Archdiocese Seminary, Archdiocesan Museum of Cardinal Karol Wojtyła, Archbishops’ Palace and the famous “Papal Window”, Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, Collegium Maius – part of the Jagiellonian University, the Main Market Square, the St. Mary’s Basilic, St. Florian’s Church.
  • Optional Visit to the Divine Mercy Sanctuary at Łagiewniki (taxi transfer required)

Duration: up to 3 hours (+2 h Lagiewniki)
Route: Wawel Hill, Old Town (+ optional Lagiewniki)
