Follow the dragon. A Visit to the Old Town and Wawel Hill
This scenic walking route leads through the historic heart of Kraków, from the monumental Wawel Hill to the charming streets of the Old Town. Along the way, you’ll explore Krakow’s unique tradition, legends and learn why the symbol of the city is a dragon hidden in Dragon’s Den beneath the castle. The highlight of the tour are workshops in Krakow living Museum of Obwarzanek.
The standard package includes:
- Wawel Hill: The Royal Cathedral – no admission, the Royal Castle – arcaded renaissance courtyard
- Entrance to the Dragon’s Den & meeting the famous Wawel’s Dragon, Vistula River
- The Old Town: Walk along the Royal Route through the Kanonicza Street and Grodzka Street, Archbishops’ Palace and the famous “Papal Window”, Collegium Maius – oldest part of the Jagiellonian University, the Main Market Square, the Townhall Tower, the Clothhall
